The Aquatics Center is located on the Lower Level of the Club and contains a Lap Pool, Warm Water Fitness Pool, and Spa. Hydrofit equipment, kickboards, fins, children's lifejackets, toys, pool buoys, and hand paddles are located in the Aquatic Center and are available for complimentary use. We ask all Members and Guests to shower prior to entering the pools. Diving is not permitted.
ADULT/YOUTH STROKE LESSONS

The Downtown Athletic Club offers private and semi private lessons to both Members and Guests. Our lessons are 30 minutes long and are customized to your needs. Private lessons are an amazing opportunity to see children and adults overcome fears, gain confidence, learn new skills and become safe in the water.
Yes we teach adults! Water safety is extremely important and it is never too late to learn how to swim. For beginners, private lessons serve as an important one-on-one time and are focused on learning how to be safe and comfortable in and around the water. As swimmers progress, lessons are often focused on learning all four strokes, new skills, fine tuning techniques, and increasing endurance. All lessons must be scheduled ahead of time.

Coached workouts designed to improve all aspects of conditioning and stroke technique for lap swimmers, triathletes and competitive swimmers. Each lane will offer different speeds and intervals. Pace work, threshold training and stroke work are regularly utilized.
Masters Swim meets on Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:00 P.M. in the Downtown Athletic Club Aquatics Center.
The Lap Pool is always open for lap swimming. At times there may be an activity taking place (such as family swim or swim lessons). Two lanes are always reserved for lap swimming and water walking. Programming includes Masters Swim, Youth Swim Team, Moonlight Swim and specialty classes. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult during Family Swim.

Parents of children under the age of five should consult their child’s physician before allowing their children to use the Spa. Oregon Law states that children 14 and under may only use the Spa under parental supervision. Etiquette rules are posted by the Spa.
