The ZONE is designed to help make the most of your time and effort. It is results-based, motivating, team training and downright fun. Using Myzone heart-rate technology, each athlete receives personalized data to help train smarter. It also caters to a wide range of fitness levels and interests, focusing on building power, strength and endurance to ensure a well-rounded and engaging workout. Our experienced Coaches have put together an incredible lineup of classes that will challenge and motivate you to reach new goals.
Try ZONE Tread
ZONE Tread is a a great complement to the ZONE membership. It’s a 30-minute treadmill-based training program with personalized guidance from our expert ZONE Coaches. Myzone heart-rate technology will be used in each session to help visualize performance and reach your goals.

The ZONE Coach
ABOUT
Group X Instructor, Personal Trainer and Small Group Training Coach at the DAC since September 2018. Jen enjoys spending time with her family, dog, Toby, friends, and at the DAC.

PHILOSOPHY
Jennifer believes in the concept that exercise is medicine. Her coaching style is driven by offering the fun, accountability and motivation found in a group exercise setting combined with the preciseness of personal training in every ZONE class taught. She believes collective energy yields higher results as a group and for the individual member.

Teri
The ZONE Coach
ABOUT
Teri is an active, married mom of three; one daughter and two sons. She loves all animals, but dogs are her undisputable favorite. She has 3 “Wiggle Butts” and would take in ALL the strays if she could. She grew up in a house of “Couch Potato Smokers” and always knew she wanted more.
She’s been working out since early adulthood and has been certified for over 10 years.

Karra
The ZONE Coach
ABOUT
After acquiring her CPT in 2019, Karra moved to Portland where she worked at a wide variety of gyms, from crossfit to senior activity centers and many other general and specialty gyms. Her experiences in Portland allowed her to acquire a vast knowledge of fitness modalities and allowed her to develop a training style that can be applied to a wide variety of clients depending on their needs, perceived obstacles, and fitness goals. Karra’s own experiences with past health conditions gave her an empathetic perspective which allows her to understand her clients and their concerns they may have when starting a new fitness journey. Thanks to her knowledge and experience, clients who have worked with Karra have seen remarkable results such as feeling less pain, increasing their fitness abilities, and regaining confidence in their own autonomy.

Courtney
The ZONE Coach
ABOUT
Courtney brings energy, dedication, and over two decades of fitness experience to every class she leads. A former college athlete, Courtney’s competitive and collaborative spirit carried over into endurance sports. She has completed multiple triathlons and long-distance running events and was a member of an all-women’s cycling team. Her passion for movement and community has made her a dedicated group fitness instructor, specializing in high-intensity interval training (HIIT), power classes that blend strength and cardio, and her personal favorite—indoor cycling.
