Snow Conditioning Series

December 1 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Get your legs and core ready before the first run of the season!

The Snow Conditioning Series consists of eight small-group training classes at the Downtown Athletic Club. Built for aspiring and experienced snowboarders and downhill skiers who want to start the 2026-27 season with steadier knees and stronger legs. Classes meet from 5:30pm – 6:30pm in The Turf on Tuesdays and Thursdays: December 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 29 (no class December 24 or 31). Each class combines a small-group workout, coaching on form and technique, and guidance on why each movement matters, so the work carries over to the mountain.

Kate Smith and Spencer Ciancio, certified personal trainers at the DAC, lead the series. Together, they bring 15 years of experience on the slopes, and that time has taught them which muscles to target, how to prevent injury, and how to stay strong all season long.

No prior ski or snowboard experience is needed. Space is limited to 12 participants. Bring athletic clothing, athletic shoes, and a water bottle. KidStop childcare is available with advance reservation; schedule at the Welcome Desk or by calling 541.484.4011 ext. 216.

Members: $200 | Non-members: $300 | Register via MindBody by Tuesday, 11/24.
