SUMMARY:Dragon Boat Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Dragon boating is a team activity in a large canoe-like vessel where the team paddles in unison towards the 250 meter finish line. Our poolside Dragon Boat Clinic is designed for absolute beginners\, so don’t worry if you’ve never paddled before. \nThe three instructors\, Leah Gaskins\, Julie Bryant\, and Alison Kaiser\, are seasoned and trained athletes with over 20 years experience combined. Julie is a fully certified coach and founder of the Unsinkable Warriors Dragon Boat Team in Salem. The Unsinkable Warriors team is celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year\, and is completely made up of cancer (warriors) survivors. \nThis clinic is taking place in the Lap Pool on Saturday\, 3/22 from 10am – 12pm. The first hour is going to be spent learning about dragon boating and the second hour will be spent putting those skills to practice. \nMembers: Free \nGuests: Pay guest fee upon arrival at the Welcome Desk \nThere are only 14 spots available.
