What are your membership fees?
Please contact us at (541) 484-4011 to schedule
a tour to see our facilities and find out what membership rates
are.
Do you have contracts?
No! Because we believe in earning your business through quality
programming and customer service, we do not require a contract.
Where do I park?
Three-hours of complimentary parking is provided to DAC members.
Visitors to our conference center and the Ax Billy Grill & Sports
Bar may park in Eugene's Downtown Overpark on the corner of 10th
and Oak Streets. A skybridge connects the parking garage to the
Club on Level 1 West.
When I come to the Club, must I have my membership
ID with me?
Your DAC membership card serves many purposes; it identifies you
as a member, tracks usage, and allows purchases on accounts. Its
primary function, however, is to protect you as members. You may
have noticed that we are diligent in asking for membership cards
for every member who enters the Club, and we want to emphasize that
this diligence helps ensure your protection. Our check-in policies
can only be effective if consistently applied. Consider your membership
card a credit card, since it allows you to charge products and services
to your account. No one would expect to make a purchase without
presenting their actual credit card, no matter how often they had
made purchases before. Similarly, that credit card cannot be used
by a spouse even if the account is shared. The same holds true for
your DAC membership card. If you have lost your membership card,
please stop by the back desk to get a new photo ID. The cost is
$5 for a replacement card.
Does the DAC offer childcare while I work out?
Low-cost childcare and activities are available for infants to teens.
Our Kidstop staff cares for your children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
After-school and "no-school" day programs for older kids
are available as well. For more information, please refer to the
Newborn to Teen page.
How do I start a fitness program?
As a new member, you receive a complimentary personal training package.
You receive another free hour of personal training every subsequent
year. All of our trainers are certified and have a Bachelors of
Science degree in a fitness-related field. Your trainer will show
you the various types of equipment the DAC has to offer, then help
you design a program to meet your fitness needs and goals.
I want to join an exercise class where do
I find a schedule?
The DAC offers many group exercise classes from cycling to water
aerobics. These classes are available on a drop-in basis
just come a few minutes early to meet the instructor and sign in.
Schedules and descriptions of all Club activities including classes
are located outside the Member Services office near the back desk.
These schedules are also available on the Club's website. If you
are unsure about choosing the right class for you, your trainer
or a member services representative can help select a class to fit
your needs.
What social activities are available for me and
my family?
We feature many regularly scheduled events like our complimentary
Third Thursday Tasting, Saturday Night Jazz and Book Club. Kids
may participate in summer camps, Kids Night Out and our annual
Halloween Carnival. As a member, you'll receive the DAC's monthly
newsletter, HealthQuest, in the mail each month with more information
on Club activities.
What if I need to borrow equipment?
Equipment is available at the front reception desk. Your member
card can be exchanged for temporary use of racquetball and squash
racquets, balls, eye guards, weight belts and boxing gloves.
