ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Located in the heart of Downtown Eugene inside the Downtown Athletic Club,
Newberry Child Care offers the ideal environment for a quality preschool
program. Incorporated into your child’s day are fun activities and
programs that utilize several areas of the Club. Newberry Child Care,
LLC, is a state-certified preschool.
Curriculum
We believe that preschool-age children learn largely through play. Daily,
our preschoolers experience hands-on activities, are encouraged to develop
self-help skills, make choices, solve problems, ask questions and explore!
The positive daily experience gives children the opportunity to build
self-esteem. Our activities stimulate your child’s intellectual
and physical development and foster social and emotional growth.
Separate preschool classes
Every child grows and develops at a different rate. To accommodate this,
Newberry Child Care has two separate classrooms: Preschool for ages 2
1/2 - 4 and Pre-K for ages 4 to 6. Each class uses age-appropriate activities
to stimulate your child’s intellectual and social development.
Schedule
Newberry Child Care offers full-time and part-time care. The Center is
open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We are a peanut-free school.
Please do not send items in your child's lunch with peanuts, peanut butter
or any other item with peanut products in them.
Parent participation
Parents are welcome to drop in to visit their child any time of the day.
Our on-site director or assistant director is available to answer questions
that parents may have. Click on the link below to view the Parent Handbook.
